Let’s just take the pressure off and let the New Year be, well, one of ACCEPTANCE: where there are no demands, no false promises to ourselves or others, no shame, no blame, no lofty goals too hard to reach, no expectations, especially those that rob us of possibility and wonder, and no desperate attempts to be different than who we are.

I read with interest Mike Tidwell’s article in the December 13th issue of the Washington Post, “To Really Save the Planet, stop going green.” For someone who as been involved in many discussions and personal initiatives about the why’s and wherefore’s of “going green,” his article caused me to pause for a moment.
